Slow Stitch Session 3: Mending/Sashiko
April 22
4:30-6:30pm
Join me at the Toolbox Collective for a cozy, slow afternoon of stitching. I’ll show you various mending techniques such as the traditions of boro and sashiko, as well as other approaches. You are welcome to bring an item that needs repaired, like ripped jeans, or simply practice stitching on provided fabrics.
Bonus: enjoy the soothing and meditative act of drawing needle and thread through fiber. We could all use some of that these days.
This is the third of four seperate sessions. You can sign up for individual classes, or the whole series for a discounted price.
